Devlog

Where it's up to.

This is one person's program and it's early. It draws, it times, it saves, it exports. It's a traditional, hand‑drawn tool and that's what's getting finished first.

◆ Working now

  • Brush engine + stabilizer; 15 presets and a brush creator
  • Dope sheet: keys, holds, loops, exposure
  • Onion skin, warm behind / cool ahead
  • Scenes, cuts, layer folders, a camera with eased keys
  • Managed palette + .dpal color model
  • Undo through structure, not just strokes
  • Export: PNG seq, GIF, APNG, MP4 + its audio, X‑sheet PDF
  • Import: images, animated GIF, video, pose packs
  • Audio: wav + mp3 in, scrubbed against the sheet
  • Rebindable keys, in‑app tutorials, touch navigation
  • Code‑signed builds (SmartScreen reputation still warming up)

○ Later

  • Color‑model tooling
  • Whatever the first people to use it say breaks
If you use it for something, tell me what broke and what felt wrong to draw with. That's the fastest way for the next build to be better than this one. r/douga is the place — or the board on itch, or contact@douga.app.
